In our country, there
are more than 10 Lac graduate qualified engineers of different branch, adding
up every year from 3 categories of Engineering Colleges.
1st IIT and a very few
similar private Colleges. These
Colleges produce engineers with a high level of knowledge bank. They are
recruited at a higher package by Large Industries as a part of their THINK
TANK, a few of them starts their own family business and a few go abroad and
get highly paid job.
But these Mechanical
or Electrical or Civil or CS/IT branch Engineers are not available for MSMEs,
and in general we can say that MSMEs do not afford to hire these Engineers and
meet their financial expectations.
2nd NIIT and a few
similar ranking private Institutes produce a mix of Think Tank as well as
Executive Tank Engineers of all branches. These Engineers get employed by Large
Industry and in upper section of MSMES with a average respectable package.
3rd other some
Govt./semi Govt. and mostly private Engineering Institute. This is a concern
that only less than 10% of their product Mechanical Engineer /Electrical
Engineer /Civi Engineer/ CS or IT or Soft ware developer Programmer Engineers
are found Employable in their respective Core Industries. Rest of these
Engineers are either employed in non-Core Jobs or remain un-employed.
Present day status of
recruitment is generating and raising dis-appointment among the recruiters
specially MSMES,as well as the Job-seekers. As a result of this
dis-appointment, the recruiter makes compromises with Productivity and many
times with sustainability. And the job-seekers try to get any job. This is a
total loss to the employer.
